Stone
is a part of the growth of civilization and a means of some of the man's
noblest expressions. The Mughal era was the golden period in the history of
Indian art, craft and culture. The Mughals not only invaded India and ruled
it but also brought with them a rich heritage, which they had acquired, from
Persia. They introduced new techniques like inlay work, glass engraving,
carpet weaving, brocades, enameling etc.
The famous Peacock Throne of the Mughals is one of the finest examples of
gem inlay work and metal craft, examples of that are very difficult to find
in the world art. They also laid the foundation for the famous Mughal
miniature painting, petra dura or inlay work and enameled jewelry.

We
have a team of highly skilled and expert craftsmen, who have worked on a
number of international Projects and assignments. Practicing the art from
ages, our craftsmen are specialized in skills and techniques, which they
have learnt from their ancestors.
Our team of master craftsmen & artisans are famous for their superb
inlay work in marble, drawing inspiration from the monument of love - Taj
Mahal. The designs are either foliage or floral, intertwined with
geometrical patterns.
Models in marble of the Taj, vases, boxes, lamps, plates, bowls and
pitchers in delicately molded shapes & fine carvings are some of the
popular items produced here. Intricate friezes and trellis or jali work done
in an eye- catching range of patterns is also a specialty of this place and
our artisans have learned these age old techniques and skills from their
ancestors who have worked on the Taj Mahal.
